In the midst of an almost two-decade-long career selling ideas wrapped in shapes, colours and alphabets, I've emerged as a raconteur who uses fashion, portrait and fine art photography to tell riveting stories that resonate with the passion of the African spirit, the potency of its intellect and the power of its image.
Guided by my creative philosophy - which is rooted in indigenous lore - I've become more sensitive to my intuition; I've keenly honed my observational skills; and I've rigorously fine-tuned my technical know-how.
This has resulted in a photographic aesthetic that is graphic and bold, explores unvarnished ideas of what it means to be a ‘new African’, simmers with power and empathy and, most importantly, is accessible on both personal and universal planes. I call it 'Brandinkra'.
